NetDespatch take the floor at the UK Express Delivery conference

NetDespatch Business Development Director Becky Clark will be giving a key talk at the upcoming UK Express Delivery Conference. The conference, which is regarded as the most important annual forum for the UK parcel and courier market, will take place 28-29 June at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole adjoining the NEC.
Clark’s talk, taking place a 9.45am on Wednesday 29th June, is titled ‘Using the web to deliver better customer service’. She joins a host of top speakers addressing key topics under a conference theme ‘Increasing Customer Choice’.
Clark looks at how express delivery companies can use the web to deliver better customer service. Covering progress in this area since 2001 when UPS and Fedex were the bench-mark, and outlining the basic essentials for conducting e-business in 2005, she shows the benefits that can be gained through efficient and intuitive provision of web services. Showing how transport companies can raise customer service level, she also highlights often made mistakes which can make web services unusuable. Finally, Clark defines the new bench-mark for web services which is giving some express delivery companies a leading-edge service advantage.
The keynote sessions will be chaired by two highly influential industry leaders: Colin F. Millbanks, non-Executive Deputy Chairman and former CEO, GeoPost UK, and Alan Jones OBE, former Group Managing Director, Express, TNT Express Services.
Also in attendance will be the industry’s top customers, including representatives from Argos, Comet, Direct Wines, RS Components and Boots, who will be meeting with operators and suppliers in 1:1 Partnership Meetings.
Other highlights over the two days include a display area where suppliers will be showcasing their products and services and an industry gala dinner for delegates to network in a relaxed environment.
